Drübeck is located in the neighborhood of the medival town of Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains. Wernigerode is famous for it's pretty half-timberd buildings and the end of the narrow-gauge steam-railway across the Harz Mountains and up to the Brocken Mountain (the highest peak of the Harz - 1,141 above sea level).
